Product & Sizing

What does the hemp-blend fabric feel like?
It’s soft and breathable – similar to a cozy cotton-linen blend. The fabric has a slight natural texture from the hemp, but it’s comfortable from day one and only gets softer with each wash.

How do I care for my Trivalaya tee?
Machine wash cold with like colors, and tumble dry low. Our shirts are made to last, so no special treatment is needed. (For best results, avoid bleach and high heat to keep the artwork vibrant.)

What are the measurements for each size?
Our shirts run true to size with a relaxed, unisex fit. We provide a detailed size chart (with chest width and length for each size) on our site. If you’re between sizes, we suggest sizing up for a looser fit or sizing down for a more snug fit.

Are your shirts pre-shrunk?
Yes – we pre-wash our fabric before printing. That means you shouldn’t see significant shrinkage. Your shirt might tighten up a tiny bit after the first wash (as any natural fiber will), but it will remain true to size.

Shipping & Returns

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders typically ship out within 2–3 business days. Once shipped, most U.S. deliveries arrive in about 5–7 business days. You’ll get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

What is your return/exchange policy?
We want you to love your Trivalaya purchase. If you’re not satisfied, you can return or exchange unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of delivery. Just send us a message and we’ll help you with the process. (Returns due to sizing or preference are welcome – we only ask that you cover return shipping. If we made a mistake with your order or a product is defective, we’ll of course cover any shipping fees for the return.)

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the USA (and to Canada). As a small startup, we’re focusing on these regions first. We hope to expand international shipping in the future. If you’re outside North America, subscribe to our newsletter for updates – we’re working hard to bring Trivalaya to more places soon!

Why do your shirts cost $35?
Our pricing reflects our values. We use premium, sustainable materials (hemp and organic cotton) that cost more to produce than conventional fabrics. We manufacture in the USA and partner with a local printer, ensuring high quality and ethical production. In short, you’re paying for fair wages, eco-friendly practices, and original art – we believe it’s worth it, and we hope you do too!

What’s so special about hemp fabric?
Hemp is an amazing fiber – it’s durable, breathable, and actually improves with wear. It requires far less water to grow than cotton and needs no pesticides, making it gentle on the earth. Hemp also has natural antibacterial properties, so your shirt stays fresher longer. We love it, and we think you will too (check out Our Impact to learn more about hemp’s benefits).

Are your shirts really made in the USA?
Yes. Our fabric is knit and sewn in the United States, and we do all our printing with a local U.S. partner. We’re proud to support American craftsmanship. (Our ultimate goal is to use Midwest-grown hemp fiber in the future as well – see Our Impact for what we’re doing to get there.)

What do you mean by “Midwest farm roots”?
“Midwest farm roots” speaks to our origin and our vision. Our founder comes from a Midwest farming family, and that heritage inspires everything we do – from our work ethic to our long-term goal of sourcing materials from Midwest farms.
